Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a committed PE Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Hertfordshire. We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to deliver engaging physical education lessons, encourage a love of sport, and promote healthy lifestyles among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport
- Prepare students for internal and external sporting competitions
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievement
- Create an inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular sports clubs and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches and curricula
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching PE at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
- A genuine passion for sport and physical education, with a commitment to student development
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
