Job Title: PE Teacher - full time - Easter start 

Location: Bournemouth

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: £30000 - £41333 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality physical education lessons
  • Assess and evaluate student performance in physical activities
  • Develop and implement individualised fitness plans for students
  • Organise and supervise sports events and extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a healthy and active lifestyle

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or related field
  • Previous experience teaching PE in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of national curriculum requirements for PE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or relevant discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching PE at the secondary level
  • Deep understanding of sports science principles and techniques
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance PE lessons

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Sports Science
  • Experience coaching sports teams
  • First Aid and CPR certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
