PE and Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Poole who are looking for a teacher of PE and Maths to start with them from October half term. This role is a would be a permanent position, working with a approximately a 50-50 split between PE and Maths on a full time basis. Ideally the candidate would need to be comfortable in teaching both PE and Maths both to key stage 4, however candidates that have only taught key stage 3 in one of the subjects would also be considered.

The school in question are a mainstream academy currently supporting close to 600 students aged 11-16; Situated in the heart of Poole with excellent links to transport across the Dorset area. The academy has effective leadership and the senior team has created a strong shared ethos that positively enhances every area of academy life;There are state of the art facilities, providing students the opportunities to develop their interests and skills in a wide range of areas.

The successful candidate must hold a UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or any similar teaching qualifications such as PGCE. A strong behaviour management and a passion for teaching are also essential for this role.
