Pastoral Lead

Job Title: Pastoral Lead - Secondary
Location: NN2
Contract: Permanent - Full-Time
Salary: £27,711 Pro Rata

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Pastoral Lead to join a dynamic pastoral support team within a growing academy. You will support the Pastoral and Senior Leadership Teams to enhance student achievement and foster positive behaviour, while promoting a strong sense of identity and belonging across year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of student participation, involvement, and responsibility

• Support home/academy partnerships, including induction and parent liaison

• Supervise student entry and follow up on attendance concerns

• Contribute to student behaviour and intervention logging

• Attend weekly pastoral meetings and contribute to the academy’s improvement plan

• Provide support in disciplinary hearings, meetings with parents, and other pastoral matters

Essential Skills:

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Experience in pastoral care and student support

• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive academy culture

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
