Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a diverse primary school in Burnley to appoint a talented year 4 Teacher commencing after the Easter break. This delightful two form entry primary school strives nurture ambitious, contentious pupils who can problem solve and articulate themselves confidently. As a year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children, encouraging good behaviour, and implementing a positive learning environment. You will also be requried to deliver the national curriculum to small groups of pupils to ensure individuals are capable of achieving age related activities by encouraging their strengths and addressing gaps in learning. The school have stipulated that whilst they are ideally looking to appoint an experienced teacher, they will also consider applications from ECT's. The school boasts a warm and friendly environment as well as excellent facilities. As well as academic excellence, this school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a positive pastoralenvironment. 

 

Successful applicants must:

- Have experience teaching key stage 2

- The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies

- Be able to commit to a full time teaching role

- Be commited to their own professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
