Background in coaching/sports? Looking to build some excellent coaching experience?

At teaching personnel we are currently looking for a passionate sports coach to work part time to support a school based in Ealing.

The school:

With an extensive sports/activity department the school are looking to employ a passionate sports coach to support their lunch time and after school clubs. Within the school there is a range of activities open to all pupils throughout the school day; including football, basketball and netball. Alongside this there are specific sports clubs arranged for a smaller amount of pupils within their after school clubs, including Taekwondo, tri-golf, little yoga and rugby. With the vast amount of activities and sports offered the school are looking to hire a versatile and passionate member of staff with a good knowledge of behaviour management.

As the hours vary day to day in terms of clubs and activities we are looking for a part time member of staff, in particular they will be supporting the lunch time and after school activities.

The role:

Within this role there is a variety of clubs that may require support, therefore the school are looking for a member of staff that is versatile and able to adapt to each group. A background in coaching or sports based support is preferred but not essential. It is crucial that the possible candidates is willing to develop students ability - providing feedback when needed on their progression.

The ideal candidate:

  • A background in sports coaching/supportive learning
  • Experienced working with both KS1 and KS2 students
  • A valid DBS or willing to do so

The school is located in central Ealing, easily accessible by numerous train lines and bus services. It is a 15 minute walk from Castle Bar Park station and a 22 minute walk from Ealing Broadway station. It is connected numerous bus services including the E2, E7 and E9.
