SEN Learning Support Assistant
Full-Time | Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for SEN Learning Support Assistants to work within a welcoming and supportive school in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young children who is passionate about early years education.

The Role:

  • Supporting children within a classroom setting
  • Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Supporting learning through play-based and structured activities
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed for children with additional needs
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, or childcare setting) (experience with SEN is desirable)
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of school curriculum is desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
