We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive educational setting in Redhill. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them feel safe, included and confident in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support children with needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Assist with classroom activities and help adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and social development.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other professionals to support each child's development.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Is patient, empathetic, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
• Has previous SEN or childcare experience (desirable, but not essential).
• Is willing to learn and undertake relevant training.
