SEN Teaching Assistant (Permanent or Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Redhill
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time | Start ASAP or September start available

About the Role
We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a specialist secondary school in Redhill, supporting students aged 11–19 with a range of additional needs, including autism and complex learning difficulties.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact, with both permanent and temp-to-perm options available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in the classroom and during structured activities
  • Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning programmes
  • Promote communication, independence, and social development
  • Support behaviour management strategies
  • Provide pastoral care and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
  • Support personal care needs where required

About You

  • Passionate about working with young people with SEN
  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in SEN, care, or education is desirable but not essential
  • Willing to learn and undertake training
  • Able to reliably commute to Redhill

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
