Part Time Maths Teacher

The provisions support secondary children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. The pupils can also have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD and communication and interaction difficulties. The roles will be based in the Guildford area.

About the role:

• As a Maths teacher in an alternative provision you will lead smaller classes of students and make lessons as accessible and engaging as possible.
• You will be supported by a welcoming team of staff in each provision you join.
• Preferably you will have experience with students with SEN and the ability to facilitate the specific requirements of pupils.
• You must be calm, patient and playful in order to build the best rapport with your students and your lessons should reflect this positive and creative nature.
