If you are an experienced or newly qualified Maths teacher, this is an exciting opportunity to join a secondary school that has been transformed in recent years. These improvements have subsequently led to the school achieving an overall grading of ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted report compared to ‘Inadequate’ in the previous Ofsted inspection.
The Head of department is looking to appoint a Maths teacher who holds:
- PGCE or equivalent in secondary Mathematics 11-16
- A track record of achieving excellent results and the ability to challenge pupils learning
- Good behaviour management skills and the skills to stretch the learning of all pupils no matter what their ability
Situated in Heywood, the school is on the outskirts of Rochdale making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton, Manchester and Oldham.
