Are you a Maths teacher looking for a part-time teaching position this academic year?

If so, Teaching Personnel have a rare opportunity to work within one of our key partner secondary schools in Rochdale on a part-time basis. The school require someone to start on on immediate basis, which can lead to a permament role for September 2023.  

Maths Teaching Position;

  • Required on a part-time basis (0.6) for the remainder of the academic year
  • Competitive pay rates in line with your experience and pay scale
  • Secondary school located on the outskirts of Rochdale
  • Teachers of all experience levels to be considered

If you are an experienced or newly qualified Maths teacher, this is an exciting opportunity to join a secondary school that has been transformed in recent years. These improvements have subsequently led to the school achieving an overall grading of ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted report compared to ‘Inadequate’ in the previous Ofsted inspection.

The Head of department is looking to appoint a Maths teacher who holds:

  • PGCE or equivalent in secondary Mathematics 11-16
  • A track record of achieving excellent results and the ability to challenge pupils learning
  • Good behaviour management skills and the skills to stretch the learning of all pupils no matter what their ability

Situated in Heywood, the school is on the outskirts of Rochdale making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton, Manchester and Oldham.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
