Our two-year paid teacher training programme allows you to earn a salary from day one while gaining the qualifications needed to become a fully qualified teacher.
What you'll receive:

- Two years of valuable classroom experience
Your Journey
Year 1 – Cover Supervisor
You'll join one of our Cambridge schools as a full-time Cover Supervisor, building classroom confidence while working alongside experienced teachers.
During your first year you'll:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
- Gain hands-on classroom experience every day.
- Attend regular professional training.
- Receive dedicated support from an experienced mentor.
- Develop the skills needed for teacher training.
Year 2 – Trainee Teacher
Progress into your Initial Teacher Training while continuing to receive financial support.
By the end of the programme you'll achieve:
- PGCE
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong foundation for a successful teaching career
Who Can Apply?
You'll need:
- A UK bachelor's degree (or recognised international equivalent).
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
- Primary applicants also require GCSE Science at Grade C/4 or above.
If you're missing GCSE qualifications, equivalency testing and Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses may be available.
Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
