Are you a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher with a passion for promoting physical education, wellbeing, and sporting excellence?

About the Role
As a Qualified PE Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Create inclusive and stimulating schemes of work that inspire students of all abilities to participate and achieve.

Foster a positive environment that encourages enjoyment, teamwork, and physical wellbeing.
-
Contribute to a thriving extracurricular sports programme, including clubs, teams, and inter-school competitions.

Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
-
Support the school ethos by promoting resilience, respect, and ambition through sport.

Collaborate with colleagues on departmental initiatives and professional development.
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: January 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate)
About You
We’re looking for a teacher who is:

Qualified with QTS (or equivalent).
-
Educated to degree level in Physical Education or a closely related subject.
-
Experienced in teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
-
A confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
-
A great communicator who can inspire and motivate young people.
-
Passionate about promoting health, fitness, and lifelong participation in sport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
