Outreach Tutors

The Position:

Providing tuition on a 1-to-1 basis in the home environment across the South Essex area. Working closely with students who have been excluded, at risk of exclusion, Looked After Children, and students with SEN.

Our tutors are able to take on as many or as few students as they like and manage their own caseload. It is up to you when you conduct your sessions and how many students you work with.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people on a 1-to-1 basis
• QTS status (or equivalent qualification)
• A basic understanding of the UK curriculum with experience in planning & preparing sessions

Depending on experience and qualifications, we pay between GBP20 and GBP30 per hour, and are able to accept non-qualified teachers who have had experience providing one to one academic support or unqualified teaching.

We are currently inundated with tuition requests, so whether you want to work full time or just a few hours a day, we will have tuition for you!
