I work with the Local Authorities, to support young people who are unable to access mainstream school. This could be for a variety of reasons such as: SEN and SEMH needs, medical reasons, if they are school refusers, or if they have challenging behaviour.
I am looking for 1:1 tutor’s in Newham, and surrounding areas who are wanting to make a positive impact on a young person’s learning; helping them to bridge gaps in their understanding, create an excellent working relationship with them, encouraging them to be confident, so that we can help them to reengage with a mainstream school setting.

And you too can make a positive difference! We have roles working with young people who are EYFS, Primary and Secondary students. Our roles predominately have a focus of supporting young people in English, Maths and Science.
Our ideal tutor
- Confident in working with young people on a 1-2-1 basis
- Experienced in creating their own resources and lesson plans, so that these can be tailored to the individual needs of each student you work with
- We expect our educators to be friendly, welcoming, and patient so a great rapport can be made, so that the young people feel safe and at ease in the working environment.
- Confident working with additional SEN and/ or SEMH needs and being able to tailor sessions to these.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
