One to One Support Worker

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Educational Needs school who have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted in their latest report! The school cater for pupils up to the age of 22, with physical difficulties to include Cerebral Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy. The main purpose is to assist students who need support due to their additional needs.

The school require the successful candidate to work in both the school as well as the residential sites located on the school grounds, taking on a supportive role in all aspects where most of your day will be working in a 1:1 capacity.

Requirements:

• Assist in implementing all aspects of individual care plans.
• Use your initiative and get involved with the pupils.
• A qualification or previous relevant experience.
• Be prepared to undergo additional training as required.
• The pupils are encouraged to work independently, so patience is essential.
• A positive and friendly disposition, and the ability to build relationships with the pupils.
