Nurture Teacher – SEN Secondary School (Primary Model) | ASAP Start

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Nurture Teacher to join a supportive Secondary SEN school that follows a primary-style model.

Start: ASAP
Full-time position
Supportive SEN environment

This unique role involves teaching a small Year 8/9 nurture class, working at an academic level typically aligned with Year 4/5 progress and assessment.

Teaching responsibilities include:

• English

• Maths

• Humanities

• Food Technology

• Other core subjects

• Facilitating PE (not leading or teaching PE sessions)

• Science is not required

We are ideally looking for someone with:

• Primary teaching experience (strongly preferred)

• Experience working within an SEN setting

• A nurturing, flexible teaching approach

• Confidence delivering a broad curriculum across multiple subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
