Nurture Room Support Assistant Needed in Tower Hamlets

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a strong and experienced learning support assistant to work with a small nurture group within a 3 form entry school in Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and in particular working to progress children in the three prime areas; Speech Language and Communication; Physical Development; and Personal, Social and Emotional Development
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a strong staff team with excellent facilities and resources to use in order to help develop the children's learning. You will be working alongside a Team Leader and will need to adopt the Nurture Room Philosophy and create a calming and positive environment.
To apply for this role, you must be qualified in at least one of the below;
* Nursery Nurse Qualification
* CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education;
* BTEC National Certificate in Early Childhood Studies
* NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant;
* Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA);
Experience in the following areas is desirable;
* Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD);
* Speech and Language needs
* Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD);
* Personal Care and hygiene
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
