Nursery Qualified Assistant needed NOW in Southampton - Full Time

A talented, creative nursery assistant is required for a friendly Nursery School in Southampton.

The nursery assistant position is at a "good" a nursery. Staff are continually striving to improve standards across the curriculum. Each child is encouraged to make their own individual contribution and develop their full potential. Creative thinking and activities are important parts of the curriculum.

We are looking for a committed teaching assistant with experience in EYFS to work in the Children's Centre. Staff must be able to work independently, using their own initiative and be confident working with small groups.

Successful Teaching Assistants will:

• Be Nursery/ EYFS qualified
• Provide outstanding care for children aged 3 months- 4 years.
• Plan activities in accordance with EYFS curriculum
• Maintain pupil records
• Use initiative

Teaching Assistant must have one of the following:

• CACHE Level 3 or Level 2
• BTEC
• NVQ Level 3
• HLTA
