Nursery Nurse needed in Northampton

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspiring, creative and motivated Early Years Assistant to join an established team at a popular private nursery within Northampton.

The nursery has recently been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted and is regularly over subscribed due to its excellent reviews and reputation.

We need someone who:

  • Can inspire and engage children
  • Happy to have a sing and dance
  • Loves Peppa Pig!
  • Enjoys splashing in muddy puddles
  • Can lead creative and messy play
  • Confident in the Early Years Curriculum
  • Experience of working with Tapestry
  • Enjoys arts and crafts

Ideally you will have a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification however this is not essential as additional training can be provided.

This is a full time position where you will be working on a rota basis, covering 40 hours a week.

The nursery is very friendly and staff turnover is very low. You will benefit from an extremely supportive senior leadership team who offer excellent training and career progression. This is a fun and friendly working environment with staff that are extremely respected and looked after. In return hard work, dedicated and the willing to go the extra mile is needed!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
