Job Description:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our nursery team, responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in your care. Your creativity and passion for early years education will shine as you plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning, exploration, and social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Child-Centric Approach: Provide high-quality care and support to children, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Learning through Play: Create and implement age-appropriate play-based activities that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity.

Individualized Care: Recognize and cater to the unique needs of each child, adapting activities to accommodate their interests and abilities.

Partnership with Parents: Establish open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and fostering a collaborative approach to their development.

Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring the well-being of all children.

Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of children's activities and progress, using observations to inform future planning.
Requirements:

Qualifications: A minimum of Level 3 Early Years Education qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

Passion for Early Years: A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development.

Creativity: An imaginative and creative mindset, able to plan and deliver exciting activities that captivate young minds.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with children, parents, and colleagues.

Team Player: A collaborative and supportive team player, contributing to a positive and harmonious nursery environment.

Safeguarding Awareness: Awareness and understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures in relation to working with young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
