Newly Qualified Teacher - Long Term - Full Time Positions - September Start
Calling all Newly Qualified Teachers!
Teaching Personnel are working across West Yorkshire with a number of special educational needs schools, alternative provisions and pupil referral units who are looking for newly qualified teachers to join their team starting in September 2020.
We are seeking primary qualified teachers, secondary subject specialist qualified teachers and special educational needs teachers who are looking to complete at least one term of their induction year to be on the way to becoming FQT's. Throughout your teacher training, a placement in a specialist education provision may have been one you did not experience but could be the ideal role you are looking for! Join our September 2020/21 NQT Pool to find a long term teaching position, with only a few pre-requisites required and one application to the agency you will be open to a multitude of full-time and part-time teaching positions that may not be advertised.
At the application stage you will be expected to provide the following information, aside from your usual personal details and six-year career history:
- Proof of Qualified Teacher Status or proof you will qualify in the following months
- The ability to provide a DBS on the Update Service or have means to purchase this through the vetting process with Teaching Personnel
- Referee details from all your placement schools and potentially other relevant employers
- A full up to date CV specifying your experiences and roles and responsibilities
The scheme has been created due to the nature of the COVID-19 situation and the lack of organisation and logistics that schools will eventually come back to, meaning recruitment in general will work mainly through a preferred supply agency. As Teaching Personnel is the leading agency across the UK, more schools than ever are using this service in order to guarantee they have the best NQTs starting in school from September 2020. Feedback from Head teacher’s we have corresponded with has already sparked interest and within weeks we are expecting to place our first wave of NQTs in the West Yorkshire area. Make sure YOU are in the first wave!
To be considered please apply via the link below or visit the teaching personnel website and register with an up to date CV.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
