Are you currently undertaking your PGCE?
Are you looking ahead to September when you will be a newly qualified teacher and looking for a full-time teaching position? If so, see below:
Teaching Personnel work with in excess of 25 schools in the central/south Manchester areas of Chorlton, Didsbury, Hulme, Levenshulme, Longsight, Stockport and Stretford and are looking for PGCE students who will be qualified at the end of this academic year. We are therefore looking to recruit motivated and ambitious newly qualified teachers in the Central Manchester area for a variety of opportunities. Working with many different schools in this area, there are a number of teaching opportunities for current trainee teachers who will be newly qualified in September.
As schools are currently closed, this has left trainee teachers in an uncertain situation again, as you look to start your second placement and get to grips with online teaching and remote support. Teaching Personnel are looking ahead to when schools reopen following the February half term and Easter time with a view of September and then needs which will and are already arising for then.
There are also opportunities for NQTs to take on temporary work or even longer term roles where they can work towards their induction and gaining QTS.
There are a wide range of teaching opportunities including short term daily supply for those teachers looking for flexibility. There is the option for medium term, operational cover where a teacher is required for 2 – 3 weeks and also longer term positions for a half term/full term. Given the nature of the roles, many of these positions do not include planning and marking responsibilities but working with such a wide range of schools, present numerous opportunities.
Highlights of the NQT teaching positions on offer:
· Newly Qualified Teachers required
· Opportunity to teach and cover in Central and South Manchester secondary schools with the option to network with like minded teaching professionals
· Number of teaching opportunities with schools looking to September given the uncertainty facing the education sector currently
· Flexible working hours with options to work regularly each week
· Gain an introduction to your next full time teaching position
Teaching Personnel are offering a range of teaching roles to give NQTs an excellent opportunity to gain teaching experience in a range of diverse schools. We work with schools from those with more challenging behaviour to ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated schools.
With there being many schools in the central/south Manchester area, you will find many accessible regardless of your specific location and whether you drive or are on public transport. There are excellent public transport links with trains, buses and the Metrolink tram service that comes every few minutes.
If you are PGCE student due to be available in September, looking for any form of teaching work, then apply now with your latest CV for immediate consideration.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training.
