Role: KS2 Teacher

Location: Southwark

Salary: MPS1 (NQT)

Start Date: September 2020

Duration: One year contract with a view to become permanent

An NQT is desired to fulfil a KS2 Teacher vacancy within a three form entry primary school based near Bermondsey tube station. The ‘Good’ (Ofsted rated) school are recruiting for a proactive NQT with the ability and confidence to teach a class whose education has been disrupted with recent events.. Please find further details below:

NQT – KS2 Teacher role:

  • Although initially a one year contract, the school are wanting the teacher to become a fundamental part of the KS2 team, with a view to progress towards becoming a Year 6 teacher
  • Assessing student’s levels and putting in place appropriate development plans to ensure they are at or above target
  • To work with pupils from a multitude of backgrounds, inviting strong differentiation skills

School Information:

  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’
  • Actively works within the local community, resulting in good relationships with parents
  • Is inclusive, creating provisions for a range of SEN needs
  • Students are well behaved as a result of strong leadership
  • Recognised within their Ofsted report as creating excellent support for their SCITT and NQT teachers.

NQT - KS2 Teacher role requires for you to have the following:

  • QTS
  • Have an up to date DBS or be willing to get one
  • Creativity and a knowledge of the key stage
