Maths NQT
Join a successful secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teacher of Maths from September.
The successful Maths NQT will be capable of inspiring students through their passion for the subject and will be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all students. They will join a supportive Maths department and will take responsibility of teaching KS3 and KS4 Mathematics.
The successful Maths NQT will:
- Plan and deliver KS3 and GCSE Maths lessons to mixed ability groups with the aim of raising attainment throughout the department.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy.
- Evaluate the performance of pupils and put in place plans for their development ensuring that all pupils receive the support required to succeed.
- Collaborate with pupils, parents and other staff in the department to maximise all pupils potential.
This popular secondary school has over 1000 pupils on roll and is located in central Manchester, a short drive from the city centre and easily accessible via public transport links. In their most recent Ofsted report, the school received an excellent report that praised the leadership team and pupils behaviour. The school was recognised nationally for its academic success and students achievement and continues to be highly reputable in the area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
