A high-quality education in English will teach pupils to speak and write fluently so that they can communicate and express their ideas and emotions to others and through their reading and listening, others can communicate with them. Through reading in particular, pupils have a chance to develop culturally, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually. As a Newly-Qualified English teacher, you have a unique ‘foot in the door’ opportunity to improve the learning and development of your students which, in turn will impact them in their later life.

In partnership with the Head Teacher, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate NQT of English for a Secondary School near Central Cambridge. This position is full-time and long-term but we do have other opportunities for full-time, part-time and long-term or supply teachers at Secondary and SEN schools in the region. Join us now, for the chance to gain a permanent contract with a school through an initial introductory period with Teaching Personnel.

Why Should You Join Teaching Personnel’s NQT Programme?

Because in return, we can offer you:

-          A quick and simple route to secure your employment for September, during the period of school closures.

-          Additional training materials designed by our sister company Best Practice Network, to support NQTs whose training may have been cut short due to Covid-19. This includes training on SEND, Pedagogy and Practice as well as the Curriculum.

-          Ongoing support and guidance from your personal consultant at TP and members of staff at the school you are assigned to.

-          Flexible working, if necessary and competitive rates of pay (all through PAYE, which means you do not have to pay an admin fee or act as self-employed).

Apply now, to be contacted by your personal consultant and begin your journey as a NQT!
