Are you looking for a role that impacts the lives of Students every single day?

Great tutors are fantastic role models that bring learning to life! Teaching Personnel is an approved provider of the National Tutoring Programme, have many partnerships with local authorities and schools, and we are committed to excellence. We partner with schools to deliver small group and 1:1 transformational tuition.

We are looking for an Maths tutor that will join us here at Teaching Personnel to deliver high quality tuition to students whose learning has been impacted. You will be delivering a variety of educational needs whether this be Year 7 Catch-Up, supporting a Looked After Child with their learning, raising attainment levels for disadvantaged students, or delivering valuable revision support prior to SATs, Phonics Testing, and GCSE or A Level Exams across schools in the Plymouth area.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Hard working and enthusiastic with excellent subject knowledge of their specialism
  • Confident, high achieving and self-motivated
  • An exemplary role model with a positive and inspiring personality
  • Can engage and support each student to achieve their full potential
  • You have achieved a Maths and English GCSE grade 5 or above or passed an equivalent qualification.
  • Able to think on your feet, willing to learn new skills and take ownership of your development
  • Able to Monitor & report on your student’s development and progress.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or demonstrable previous experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
