Part-Time Music Teacher – Northumberland
Start Date: September 2025
Days: 3 days per week
Contract Type: Part-time (long-term supply)
Location: Northumberland

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Northumberland to appoint a Music Teacher for a part-time role (3 days per week) starting in September 2025. This is a long-term position teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role:

  • Teach engaging Music lessons that inspire creativity and confidence

  • Plan, deliver, and assess in line with the school’s curriculum

  • Support students of all abilities in achieving their best

  • Option to contribute to extracurricular music activities (e.g. clubs or performances)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Recent experience teaching Music at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
