Position: Music Teacher

Do you have a passion for music and a desire to share it with young people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school community in the Northampton area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to ignite students’ love for music, delivering creative, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while contributing to a thriving culture of performance and expression.

About the Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons that foster creativity and confidence

• Plan, teach, and assess in line with the school’s curriculum and policies

• Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential

• Opportunity to lead or support extracurricular activities such as clubs, choirs, or performances

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Recent experience teaching Music at secondary level

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• A passionate, flexible, and professional approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
