Position: Music Teacher
Location: Northampton area
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate)
Do you have a passion for music and a desire to share it with young people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school community in the Northampton area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to ignite students’ love for music, delivering creative, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while contributing to a thriving culture of performance and expression.
About the Role

Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons that foster creativity and confidence

Plan, teach, and assess in line with the school’s curriculum and policies

Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential

Opportunity to lead or support extracurricular activities such as clubs, choirs, or performances
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Recent experience teaching Music at secondary level
-
Strong classroom management and organisational skills

A passionate, flexible, and professional approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
