Job description

Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher ready to make a difference? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented educator to join our vibrant secondary school in Heywood this Autumn Term.

About the Role:
You’ll be leading engaging music lessons for students aged 11–16, nurturing their creativity, confidence, and musical talents. From classroom teaching to ensemble rehearsals, you'll have the opportunity to shape a thriving music culture within the school.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education

  • Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities

  • Is confident in delivering both practical and theory-based lessons

  • Enjoys contributing to extra-curricular music activities (choirs, bands, productions, etc.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
