Multiple Teaching Assistants Required

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting several Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across the BS32 area. These positions are ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and making a positive difference in education.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience working with children and young people, we would love to hear from you.

We Are Particularly Interested In Candidates With Backgrounds In:

• Sports coaching
• Psychology or Criminology graduates
• Youth work
• Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
• Holiday camp leadership
• After-school clubs and activity programmes
• Mentoring or tutoring
• Any other relecant role involving regular work with children or young people

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Be nurturing, patient, and empathetic.
• Be proactive and willing to get involved in all aspects of school life.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils.
• Working with students on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour.
• Helping to create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
