MFL Teacher, FULL TIME, SEPTEMBER start, Northampton
Teaching Personnel are pleased to be supporting an Outstanding secondary school located in the heart of Northampton area in their search for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher for Maternity Cover - end of academic year. The school is looking for a teacher that is well organised and can present in clear language, in an engaging way, with relationships between topics stressed. Teachers will need to love the curriculum content so that students can see connections between topics and they experience a sense of excitement about the content.
The role and responsibilities -
Teach Spanish and/or French to students in an all-through school setting.
• Teach other subjects as required • Plan lessons carefully, having regard to the schemes of work and departmental practice
• Cover for absent colleagues
• Work as a full member of the MFL curriculum team, working with others to disseminate good practice in the department, to create teaching resources, and to develop consistent approaches
• Assess student work to monitor and evaluate progress, set targets and advise lesson preparation
• Liaise with MFL co-ordinators in partnership schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
