Key Stage 2 - Year 4/5 and 1:1 Cerebral Palsy SEN Teaching Assistant Roles Required for "Good" Primary School in Kersal, Salford, M7

  • Key Stage 2 - Year 4 or Year 5 Teaching Assistant.
  • Working closely with Key Stage 2 Teaching Team delivering Maths and English support.
  • September Start - 1 year contract for 2017/2018 academic year.

Key Stage 2 - Year 4/5 and 1:1 Cerebral Palsy SEN Teaching Assistant Roles Required for "Good" Primary School in Kersal, Salford, M7

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a good Primary School in Kersal area of Salford, M7, to look for a KS2 Teaching Assistant join their junior, key stage 2 department from September and a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a girl in year 2 with Cerebral Palsy. Due to the desire to create further teaching opportunities within school, these teaching positions will be starting in September with a view to continuing for the rest of the academic year.

- Year 4 or Year 5 Teaching Assistant

- SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Cerebral Palsy (Year 2)

- “Good” Salford Primary School – Kersal, M7

- Fixed, Long Term Contract

- Start date in September – until the end of the academic year

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a recently graded “Good” school under the new OFSTED framework. This flagship school within the Kersal area of Salford offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 1 and 2 department. With a focus on SATS preparation and a creative, cross-curricular approach to teaching, the school’s facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning to go along with their proud awards for pupil premium expenditure.

As a Year 4 or Year 5 teaching assistant, experience of supporting Maths and English is key and the confidence to build in nurture and social aspects of learning to your teaching would be beneficial.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant supporting a girl with Cerebral Palsy, it is important that you have school based experience and ideally experience supporting SEN children on a 1:1 or small group basis. The experience of Cerebral Palsy is ideal, however not essential so if you have SEN experience, you would be encouraged to apply.

- Salary (£12,500 - £15,500)
