Position: Midday Meal Supervisor
Location: Westminster
Salary: GBP12 per hour
Required: Mondays to Fridays 12-2pm daily
Suitable for: teaching assistants, nursery assistants, nannies, play workers and those with special needs experience
Our special needs school based in Westminster are looking to appoint midday meal supervisors. Midday meal supervisors will be required to work between 12-2pm Monday to Fridays during school term time and will be paid on a weekly basis.
Midday meal supervisors will either work in specific classrooms or in the school’s dining area. Staff are expected to support pupils with feeding, personal care support and moving and handling where required.
Our school provides for children and young adults aged 4-19 years old with severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. We provide a safe and supportive environment and work hard to ensure that all our children feel positive about themselves.
We are looking for caring and patient individuals who are confident supporting pupils with complex needs.
The ideal lunch time supervisor will be:
- Confident working with children aged 4-19 years old with special needs
- Experienced or have a strong understanding of severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities
- Able to support with personal care and/or moving and handling
- Able to work Mondays to Friday 12-2pm
- Living in London and able to travel to Westminster daily
Access to cleaning facilities and/or disposable PPE equipment will be provided to support pupils during lunchtime hours and regular contact will be made to staff in regard to coronavirus related symptoms.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
