Everyone deserves the opportunity for a work life balance.

Becoming a Supply Teacher for Teaching Personnel can give you the choice, and variety to work across 75 Primary schools within a 15 minute journey. Whether you're an ECT or an experienced Primary Teacher, we can make supply work for you.

What is Supply?

Daily supply work ranges from one-day requirements to bookings that can run for a number of weeks. You might work in one school or in several. You will normally be covering staff sickness, non-contact time and differing types of planned absence.

Our service is grounded in the close relationships our sector specialist consultants build with nearby schools. We do this in tandem with growing and maintaining locally-based teacher and teaching assistant 'pools' that fully reflect the demand for supply cover in each area.

How does it work?

  1. The school contacts their local Teaching Personnel branch with short-term or emergency staffing requirements.
  2. Your consultant takes down all the details of the school's requirements including date and duration of booking, educator type and specialism along with any special instructions or requirements they have.
  3. Once we have the details, we search for the best match available among local educators.
  4. Your consultant telephones the school with confirmation and details of the booked educator.
  5. Once the school confirm, our system will send an email booking providing details of your vetting checks.
  6. You will arrive at school on time, ready and eager to support the school in delivering a quality education for its pupils.

Who we are looking for?

You don’t need to be an experienced Supply Teacher. If you're coming from a permanent teaching post, a non educational job, or a support role, but are eager to teach in Primary Schools, this is the role for you! We will provide you with a full vetting checks process, including a DBS, training and development (if needed) to succeed in Supply.

You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classrooms, both indoors and outside according to the plans for the day.
