Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our school in Tenterden, Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern foreign languages, a commitment to delivering engaging and effective lessons, and a genuine passion for nurturing students' language skills and cultural awareness. You will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and preparing them for a diverse and interconnected world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and immersive language learning environment to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess and evaluate students' language proficiency and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field. A teaching certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience teaching modern foreign languages at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for language learning and a commitment to instilling a love for languages and cultures in students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
