French and Spanish Teacher needed for Stockport based secondary school.

Our partner school in Stockport are looking to appoint a Modern Foreign Languages teacher for September for a 12 month maternity cover. The incoming MFL teacher will need to have experience delivering French or Spanish to GCSE Level with French or Spanish experience to KS3 level.

Medium sized with around 850 students on roll this is an excellent opportunity for a languages teacher coming to the end of a contract, due to complete a long term supply post or those who have just completed a school direct or PGCE training programme.

The successful languages teacher will be provided with regular support from an established head of department and working in a vibrant languages department. Located in central Stockport the school can be accessed via train routes from Manchester and direct bus routes for those who don't drive. Academically this is a high achieving secondary school and one of the top 3 in the borough of Stockport.

  • Qualified teacher status in the UK
  • UK curriculum secondary school experience
  • School references from your most recent employment
  • Proven track record of academic or work achievement
