We are looking for Support workers, experienced in supporting mental health, to work with Children aged 8 - 16 who have Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties. These young people struggle with emotional regulation, confidence and attendance. Some students may have additional needs and learning difficulties such as ADHD or ASC

The provision is situated near Colchester and your focus will be on helping the students stay focused and on track with their learning. There will be a high amount of emotional support and encouragement required.

  • Utilises a variety of communication methods to support learning 
  • Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the well being with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals and the local community

The hours will be 8am to 4.30pm with an early finish on Fridays 

Working through Teaching Personnel means that you will work at the school on a long-term temporary basis, with the opportunity to gain a permanent contract at the school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
