Maths Tutor

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking Maths Tutors for the new academic year. 

We recruit for a number of the SEN / SEMH provisions in the Lancashire area and many are seeking additional support / Tutors for the new year. Due to the UK lockdown, it has been noted that a number of pupils have fallen behind in terms of their education and we need you to be able to provide catch up tuition for them! 

The roles will be on an ad-hoc / flexible basis, but we will need a minimum of 15 hours availability per week in order for you to be considered for the role. 

The role will suit a qualified Teacher or a candidate with HLTA experience who is confident delivering Maths to KS2 - 4 level. 

The role will begin as soon as possible and candidates must be willing to provide 2 referees and have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service. 

The candidate must be resilient, hard working, flexible and have some experience working with lower ability pupils or pupils with additional needs. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Pay rates of GBP20 - 26 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
