Maths Tutor

Are you a qualified Maths teacher interested in working with small groups of students as a Maths intervention tutor?  Are you passionate about raising attainment across specific cohorts, and improving understanding across the mathematics curriculum?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large secondary school in North Manchester to recruit for a part-time Maths intervention tutor, to work with small groups of KS4 pupils. This role is to start from September 2021 for two terms in the first instance. Hours and days are negotiable to meet the needs of the identified pupils, and to fit around pre-arrangements.

-          Part time Maths intervention tuition role.

-          Hours and days negotiable, guaranteed work from September 2021 for two terms in the first instance.

-          Must hold QTS or have completed a teacher training programme.

-          It is desirable that you have experience delivering intervention sessions or tuition to small groups.

-          Competitive hourly rates of pay dependent on previous experience.

-          Large secondary school situated in North Manchester, accessible via the M60 motorway.

Located in North Manchester, our partner secondary school can easily be reached from Oldham, central Manchester and south Manchester areas. There are an abundance of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas, and the M60 motorway provides direct access.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
