Maths Tutor

Flexible work opportunity for individuals from a Mathematics background, looking to gain further experience within education.

• Maths Tutors – after school hours.
• Required from April 2021 or earlier (dependent on school return date).
• Earn up to GBP30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Opportunity to work in a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Secondary school in Salford.
• Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis who require extra support with Maths (both online and in school).

The incoming tutor will be expected to plan and incorporate interventions to aid specific students’ attainment with the hope of raising their progress. You will be supporting students aged 11-16 across KS3 and GCSE.

To be considered for this Maths tutor role, you must have at least 6 months experience tutoring or teaching previously.

Our client school is based in Salford and is easily accessible via surrounding areas such as Swinton and Prestwich. For candidates who do not drive, there are several public transportation links from areas such as central Manchester, Bolton and Trafford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
