Become a Maths Tutor in Nottingham!

Do you love making maths clear and exciting for young people? TP Tutors, a leading agency for personalised education, is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths tutors in Nottingham. We need tutors to help students from KS2 to GCSE master their maths skills.


What You'll Do

As a Maths tutor, you'll:

  • Provide engaging 1-to-1 tuition outside of school.

  • Strengthen understanding and build confidence in all areas of maths.

  • Create tailored lesson plans for each student's needs.

  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages academic growth.

  • Potentially help with exam preparation and revision.


What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with:

  • Strong maths knowledge and passion.

  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience, or an equivalent education qualification.

  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts patiently.

  • The ability to create engaging learning materials.

  • A current DBS certificate and willingness to subscribe to the Update Service.


What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: Earn £25 - £30 per hour, depending on funding and your experience.

  • Flexible Hours: Work Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with potential for more hours.

  • Generous Time Off: Enjoy around 13 weeks off per year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
