Job description

Maths Tutor – Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

Are you passionate about helping young people unlock their potential in Maths? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 support to students.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with teaching or tutoring experience who is eager to make a real difference in students’ academic journeys and personal growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging, tailored Maths sessions on a 1:1 basis

  • Planning and preparing lessons that inspire confidence and understanding

  • Supporting students to build their skills, self-belief, and independence

  • Tracking progress and adapting your approach to meet individual needs

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths (classroom or 1:1)

  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, effective sessions

  • A genuine commitment to supporting young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
