Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young minds and inspire the next generation? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic secondary maths tutors to support our schools across Leeds.

Position: Maths Tutor

Location: Leeds

Rate of Pay: £25 to £35 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time (Term Time)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality maths tutition.
  • Providing personalised support and assistance to students, catering to their unique learning needs.
  • Creating interactive and stimulating sessions.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback via our learning platform
  • Instilling confidence and self-belief in students, motivating them to overcome challenges.
  • Collaborating with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce certificate that is accessible through the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
  • Eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation)
  • Previous experience in teaching or tutoring maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
  • The ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
