Catholic School hiring a Mathematics teacher now! - £130 to £240 a day

Maths specialist required for a full time role, interviews after the half term break for September start - School located in Wandsworth

"Outstanding" Catholic school hiring a permanent Mathematics teacher

An outstanding Catholic School based in Wandsworth is currently looking for a Maths teacher to work on a full time basis from September. The teacher would need experience working with Mathematics classes from key stage 3 up to key stage 5, and relevant and UK recognised teaching qualifications.

Requirements

  • Must have teaching qualifications (PGCE or QTS) ideally a Maths specialism
  • Should have worked in secondary schools up to KS5
  • Teachers will need an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service
  • A full 6 year career history is required
  • Two performance based references

This catholic school look to promote a healthy work/life balance, ensuring teachers can be well rested and give 100%. This is obtained by a strong Senior Leadership Team that look to support teachers in every aspect. Due to this, and many other factors, the school has been rated by Ofsted as "outstanding."

The religious aspect of the school is very important to both staff and pupils, and permeates every aspect of school life whether it be the curriculum or extra curricular activities. Although there is an emphasis on the Catholic faith, the school put and equal importance on secular subjects. Any staff can be involved in religious activities, but it is not compulsory. Staff are not required to practice the Catholic faith, only to have respect for it.
