You will work as part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team, with the time and flexibility to adapt teaching approaches and create positive learning experiences for every student.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons up to GCSE level

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning, communication, and sensory needs

  • Monitor progress and support students to achieve their full potential

  • Build positive and consistent relationships with students, families, and colleagues

  • Promote confidence, resilience, independence, and emotional wellbeing

  • Contribute to a nurturing and ambitious school community

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS cannot be considered

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

  • Confidence delivering GCSE Maths

  • Strong classroom practice and behaviour management skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability

  • A patient, adaptable, and student-centred approach

Desirable

  • Experience within specialist education, SEND, or ASC provision

  • Knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated teaching strategies

  • Experience supporting students with social communication differences

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £36,000 – £42,000, depending on experience

  • Small class sizes allowing greater impact and meaningful teaching

  • Enhanced staffing support and collaborative working

  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities

  • A supportive leadership team and specialist education environment

  • The opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference in young people’s lives
