Job description

Role: Teacher of Mathematics
Location: Chichester
Salary: MPR/UPR
Start: September 2026

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a successful and welcoming 11–16 mixed comprehensive trust school located in the Emsworth area, graded ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Mathematics to join its ambitious and successful Maths department from September 2026 on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.

The school prides itself on fostering both academic excellence and personal growth within a nurturing environment, underpinned by strong core values of kindness, respect, and determination. The Role

  • Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging Maths curriculum
  • Supporting students in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
  • Full teaching responsibilities, paid to scale
  • Contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and ambitious school community

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and engaging practitioner with the ability to inspire students of all abilities and foster a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
