Opportunity for a passionate and dynamic individual to join the Maths department of a secondary school in Bolton.

-          Full-time Mathematics teacher.

-          Required from September 2021 until the end of the academic year in the first instance (2021/2022), with the potential of a permanent contract being offered.

-          Teaching a full timetable, across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

-          Full planning and marking responsibilities.

-          Must hold QTS alongside experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and GCSE.

-          Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum).

Our client school expects the incoming Maths teacher to deliver pupil centred lessons throughout the creation of comprehensive lesson plans and to incorporate various methods of teaching to ensure pupils are actively engaged and understand the materials clearly.

Both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.

The school is in Bolton and is accessible via both the M60 and A56 from surrounding areas such as central Manchester, Bury and Salford. For non-drivers, the school is also easily accessible via several public transport links from surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
