Maths Teacher - Reading
- Full Time, start in April

The school based in the Reading area, and require a permenant Teacher of Maths to join them in April 2021 on a full-time basis. Despite the role being temporary to being with, they are seeking to recruit an ambitious practitioner who has exceptional subject knowledge, is innovative, drives excellence and is available full-time and on a long-term basis. Depending on performance in school, you will then transition on to the schools contract after working 16 weeks through Teaching Personnel.
The department consists of small, close knit team of Maths specialists who work hard to achieve a good atmosphere where staff work in collaboration with one another, support one another’s CPD and share work load. As a member of the Maths team, you will be required to participate in the all inclusive enrichment programme they offer every student, a programme of which they are proud of.
The school is a small secondary school, and have consistently been graded as a 'Good' school. They are now striving for 'Outstanding' by Oftsed.
To be considered for the role you should:
- Have UK QTS/QTLS
- Have expert knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Have a good sense of humour, be able to build excellent relationships with staff and students alike
- Be an excellent communicator and be adaptable to provide an all inclusive mathematical programme
- Have excellent classroom management skills demonstrating good pace, progress and reflective learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
