Maths Teacher

Full time Maths Teacher required for our partner secondary school located in Salford.

The Headteacher is seeking a Maths teacher to work within their rewarding department across Key stages 3 and 4. This role will commence immediately and will involve full planning, marking and assessing responsibilities.

• Maths Teacher – immediate start.
• Opportunity to secure a permanent contract from September 2020.

• Engaging all pupils with the purpose of raising attainment
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490.

Our partner school has seen drastic positive improvements under the guidance of the newly restructured senior leadership team.  Staff are proud of their fantastic Maths department, which provides pupil centred teaching and learning to just over 1100 pupils, aged 11-16.

As the successful candidate, you will have access to state of the art equipment all within modern facilities.  You will have experience of behaviour management strategies and a strong background of raising attainment amongst pupils of all abilities. The Headteacher is looking to conduct interviews at short notice, so both experienced and newly qualified teachers are urged to apply immediately. 

Salford can easily be accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road). There is also an abundance of public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
