A secondary school in Ilford is currently seeking to fill a position for a Maths Teacher until the end of the academic year with the option to go permanent. School has fantastic transport links to Central London via Liverpool Street and other areas of Essex via TFL and national rail. The school are looking to interview immediately for an Easter 2020 start.

The school are part of a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) – led by an Ofsted outstanding school with a large number of students going to Russell Group Universities after a levels and GCSE results in the top 10% in the UK. This school has a more modern appearance than the lead school and they are seeking an intake of high quality staff to help them transition from GOOD to OUTSTANDING by the time Ofsted next comes around.

About the role

• Open to both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) who are prepared to develop quickly and keen to progress.

• Delivering lessons to classes of 25-30.

• School is located within the Outer London Payscale (MPS/UPS) – TLR is available for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • QTS Certification
  • Degree in Mathematics or related subject.
  • Experience as a Maths Teacher to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
